JED Campus is the signature program of the JED Foundation focused on protecting and promoting emotional well-being among college students. UTA is proud to be honored with this distinction.
CAPS offers a wide range of services to support your emotional well-being. Call (817)272-3671 to schedule an in-person or telehealth counseling visit or phone consultation, or (817) 272- 2771 to schedule a telehealth psychiatry visit.
CAPS offers brief, supportive phone consultations as a way for you to access goal-directed support and resources. Appointments are regularly available within 1-2 business days.
University of Texas at Arlington students have FREE, 24/7 access to virtual care services with TimelyCare — the virtual health and well-being platform from TimelyCare, designed for college students.
Current UTA students do not need insurance to access TimelyCare. TimelyCare telehealth services can be accessed 365 days a year, from anywhere in the United States. That means you have access during breaks, after-hours, and any time you need support! Visit www.timelycare.com/UTA, enter your official UTA email address to get started. If in crisis, call MAVS TALK 24-hour crisis line to speak with a counselor available 24/7: (817) 272-TALK (8255). To schedule a crisis telehealth visit during CAPS business hours call 817-272-3671. In the case of emergency, contact 911 or go to your nearest ER.
